Grandma's Game Board Quilt

I was asked by my local quilt guild to come up with a project for our group to do in the year 2011.  This is what I came up with -- Grandma's Game Board.  If you look at some older post you will see this one almost completely finished.  But for this post I am giving a photo step-by-step for those in my guild who are making the quilt.  This was the fabric I chose as my starting off point for color selection.

I wanted to use some of the same fabric from my previous game board quilt.

The first game we are making is the Checkers.
Step one.
 Step two.
Step three.

Step four.  Trim to be square.
 Step five.
Step six.
   Step seven.
If you would like the written instructions to this quilt, follow my blog, leave a comment on this post and then send me an email to alpinequiltretreats(at)gmail(dot)com
